The repository contains cue sheets for CRW and other rides, and maps for
some rides.
A description of the abbreviations used in these cue sheets is contained in
the Cue Sheet Conventions page.
Wonder where those arrows you've seen on the road go? Consult our
Ride Arrow Design
page for information. If you're leading a ride, this will show you what
designs to copy or avoid.

CRW member Paul Hardin has created GPS routes that can be used with
Delorme Street Atlas and Topo programs and downloaded to GPS units.
What are GPS Route Files?
The waypoint or route files are keyed to the maps of the routes in the CRW
Ride Database. We have made waypoints for turns in the cue sheets.
All the waypoints for a ride are in a single file, which is given in GPX
format.
The other format is an ASCII coordinate file format (XML) that
can be imported into most mapping programs and GPS software. These have
an extension of .gpx. Some programs may expect a different extension (.xml
for example). You can try dragging and dropping the route file onto the
program window to see if it's compatible, or renaming them to the extension
the program expects. Just be sure that the format the program is expecting is
an ASCII or text format, not a proprietary binary format.
To transfer these data to a GPS unit, you will need a mapping
program with GPS capability such as the Delorme programs or Garmin MapSource.
For more information or to contribute Street Atlas based information, contact
Paul.
These cue sheets are offered for your personal use, NOT FOR COMMERCIAL USE.
Other organizations wishing to lead one of these rides should check with CRW
first. CRW Ride leaders wishing to use one of these routes as a CRW ride
should contact the leader first, if one is listed, to avoid potential
conflicts.
NOTE:
The routes in this collection represent rides that in some cases occurred
several years ago. Present road conditions and locations may not exactly match
the cues provided, and these should be used primarily as a guide.
Several of the longer rides in this series are extremely difficult, and should
be undertaken only with adequate preparation,
CRW presents these rides solely as a service to its members and the cycling community, and makes no
claims as to the fitness of these rides for any purpose.
Ride are grouped as indicated below. To see the rides in a section click on the section name
Do you have a favorite local ride? Send the cue sheet and map if available
to Jack Donohue, tab delimited ASCII or spreadsheet format preferred, and it will
