Rides Run by Charitable Organizations

CRW and its members receive many requests to support rides run by various charitable organizations. As a non-profit club ourselves, we wish to be supportive. However, we need to do this in a way that does not interfere either with our club operations, or with the privacy of our members.

Please click the link below to provide us with information about your upcoming event. Include the name and e-mail address of a CRW member who is willing to confirm that your organization is a legitimate charity. This information will be posted in the listing below, and copied into our newsletter in months when space permits. Events will not be included if we cannot find a CRW member who will vouch for your organization, or if the events conflict with one of the three “centuries” listed in the “rides” section of our website.

In return for the publicity, we ask that you comply with the following:

• Members and officers whose e-mail addresses are listed on our site or in our publications should not be solicited directly.
• Solicitations should not be sent to the CRW e-mail list
• If a spokesperson for the organization wishes to make an announcement at the start of the CRW ride, the spokesperson should speak with the ride leader before pre-ride announcements start. This will enable the leader to position announcements in a way that facilitates an organized ride start
