Candidacy Statement
I am thrilled to announce my candidacy for the CRW board. As a dedicated board member for the past three years, I have had the privilege of leading several key initiatives, including:
1) Revamping our website to ensure it is user-friendly and efficient
2) Drafting a clear and concise code of conduct for all members
3) Streamlining our election process to make it more efficient and transparent
4) Aiding in expanding member benefits and discounts (RoadID)
I have also worked closely with our other board members to improve the club's overall operational efficiency. I have implemented new procedures and systems that have saved us time and money, and I have also helped to streamline our communication and decision-making processes.
In addition to my work with CRW, I have the honor of serving as president of the New England Cycling Coalition for Diversity (NECCD). This role has given me a deep understanding of the diverse needs and challenges within the cycling community, and it has reinforced my commitment to making cycling a more inclusive and welcoming sport for everyone.
I am confident that my organizational skills, operational expertise, and commitment to diversity and inclusion will be invaluable to the CRW board. I am committed to making CRW the best cycling club in Boston, and I believe that my skills and experience will help us achieve that goal.
