CRW Rides are open to members and guests. Guests may attend two rides before being required to join the club. Please click the Register button to the left to join the ride.
Ride Description:
The route covers towns in the south that appear infrequently in the CRW calendar. We take mostly quiet roads in Medfield, Norwood, Sharon, Mansfield, Foxboro, and Walpole. The metric century adds Norton and Attleboro. Highlights of the ride include several notable ponds: Jewells, Pettee, Willett, Bird, Sawmill, Chartley, Fulton, Kingman. Whitville, Beaumont, Vandys, Crackrock, Plimpton, and Cobbs. If the weather is warm, bring a towel since we will be stopping at the beach on Lake Massapoag for a swim. Linda will lead a 13 mph group on the 33 or 41 mile option depending on group interest. The highlight of the ride is lunch at the Blue Moon Bagel Cafe at the end of the ride.
Ride Start Location:
Park away from the stores on the north side near Rt. 109.
