Ride Description:

Want to add an epic ride to your 2023 season? Look no further! This adventure will take you from the Boston burbs all the way to Times Square, NYC! And yes, it's "non-stop" meaning we don't take sleep breaks, no Ma'am...

We start the ride at 8PM on Friday. This time of the year the nights are cool and short enough. As we head into CT all you can see is the starts, all you can hear is the crickets. It's amazing to see how quickly miles flying by. As the sun comes up it fills riders with energy for the next 150 miles or so.

We will make strategic stops through the night on seven-elevens along the way. We take a longer break when we get to New Haven. Pistachio Cafe is the place to enjoy a delicious breakfast and chill for a couple of hours.

As we approach the Big Apple, we ride through somes "bike paths" that aren't really super well kept, but it just adds to the adventure!

Arriving at Times Square is pure magic! You will get tired, but then you are in NYC for crying out loud.

Return options are abundant. You can take the bus, train, plane, or stay another night or two. This is NYC after all!

The route posted was used on last year's ride. It's perfect up to New Haven, but could be improved to avoid the CT coastal cities stop-and-go. Feel free to suggest alternatives.

Equipment requirements:

Bike, helmet, headlights, taillights, food, a battery pack, and good humor to deal with what will be thrown at you.

Coffee Shop selection:

It's hard to beat Pistachio cafe in New Haven

Ride Start Location:

Considering the ride format, we could set the Alewife T station as starting point given it's overnight parking facility. Go Busses has a route that stops there if you want to consider it.
