Candidacy Statement
I am Erik D’Entremont, a CRW member since 2017. I have been serving as a board member since 2022 as the century coordinator. I am still amazed how the CRW volunteers help make the North to NH, Climb to the Clouds and Cranberry Harvest centuries such an incredible event.
I have also enjoyed being a ride leader for the Brick Tuesday ride and a variety of other rides life the Tour of Martha’s Vineyard.
This year I joined the Century Committee to deliver our centuries with the help of volunteers and fellow board members. I had no idea how much work went into organizing a century but gamely stepped in, scouting out new rest stops, creating and then scouting routes. It has been an incredible learning experience, and I am humbled by the contributions our volunteers make to the Club.
A rainy season presented many challenges to our recurring club rides. Our board this year took on some major changes including a new website and digitization of crw. Additionally our ride calendar for all levels of rides continues to offer many ride options including Adventure, Gravel and Women’s Rides. As your board nominee, I pledge to continue to serve the mission of CRW. I appreciate your consideration and ask for the privilege of continue serving you as a CRW Board member.
