A great way to meet other women/nonbinary/female-identifying CRW members! This is a low-traffic, scenic, and social ride through Lexington, Burlington, Woburn, Winchester, and Arlington!

ROUTE DETAILS: The ride leaves PROMPTLY from the Minuteman Bikeway terminus near Alewife (at the intersection of three bike paths: Fitchburg Cutoff, Alewife Linear, and Minuteman). We head down the Minuteman bikeway to Lexington Center, then to Burlington and up Blanchard Rd to the water tower at Mary Cummings Park. We descend to beautiful Horn Pond for a photo op, spin past Mystic Lakes, and head back to Alewife via the Minuteman. We often stop for coffee at the finish.

MAP: 19.1 miles: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/40464668

PACE: No-drop; expect a pace of about 13-16 mph, with stops to regroup as needed (faster riders can form groups to make their own time). Ride leader will act as a sweeper if needed to make sure newer riders are not left on their own, but please have the route downloaded to your navigation device.

CANCELLATION: Rain or unsafe weather/road conditions cancels. Will make call by 10 pm the night before and confirm again at 6 am in case of unexpected weather.

RIDE LEADERS: Contact Amy with any questions; contact by TEXT ONLY on ride day, please.

The Women's Program's goal is to invite more women, nonbinary, and female-identifying folks onto the road, foster connection with other women in the club, and act as an on-ramp to other co-ed areas of the club.  Feel free to contact the ride leader via email if you have any questions about this ride or the Women's Program in general.
