CRW Rides are open to members and guests. Guests may attend two rides before being required to join the club. Please click the Register button to the left to join the ride.

Ride Description:

It's X-Mass in July! Cycle across Massachusetts (X-Mass), from near the NY state border to the Seaport, in one day! The ride starts from the summit of Mt Greylock (opportunity to stay overnight at Bascomb Lodge for an early start) then a beautiful journey through the Berkshires and along the Quabbin Reservoir, followed by a climb to the summit of Mt Wachusett and a finish at Boston Harbor to watch the sunset. This is an unsupported ride and riders will have to arrange for their own travel to the start (Amtrak and carpool are potential options). An separate ride from Worcester MBTA to Mt Greylock will be posted for the day before to facilitate a 2d trip without the need for car transportation. This is an epic 1d ride and riders should be prepared to handle minor mechanical issues along the way

Ride Start Location:

The ride starts at 5:30am at the summit of Mt Greylock in Adams, MA.  Riders are encouraged to stay overnight at Bascomb Lodge (located on Greylock summit) to get an early start.  Also, consider arriving in time for dinner the night before (7pm) to meet your fellow riders and enjoy the views from the summit.
