CRW Rides are open to members and guests. Guests may attend two rides before being required to join the club. Please click the Register button to the left to join the ride.
Ride Description: The ride leaves PROMPTLY from the Minuteman Bikeway terminus near Alewife. This is a variation on the Friday Womens' Praline Croissant ride, but with the added bonus of the Eastern Ave climb in Arlington Heights and an escape into some quiet roads in Woburn (really). The ride is show-and-go and will not necessarily regroup if riders are dropped, although we'll most likely regroup after Eastern Ave. Route is just under 20 miles so we should be back at least 1/2 hr before dark. Please bring lights.
Ride Start Location: Ride starts at the Cambridge Minuteman trailhead.
The Minuteman Bikeway starts on the north side of the Alewife building, at the intersection of Steel Pl and Alewife Station Access Rd. This is the intersection of three bike paths: Fitchburg Cutoff, Alewife Linear, and Minuteman.
Cancellation: Rain or unsafe weather/road conditions cancels. Will make call by 1 pm on Wednesday.
