Ride Description:

An annual tradition. It's a great ride with hundreds of cyclists on the road Sunday night/early Monday morning. Make sure you have lots of lights that will last for several hours.

The MBTA has become hostile to bikes on the trains so the original premise of the ride has ended. Originally, You would jump on the late night train at South Station and hop off in Southborough near the start line.

With no train option, you'll have to figure out a ride to Hopkinton or ride round trip.

We may not be able to stay together. It will be dark and hard to locate people. It will likely not be warm so people will want to ride at a pace that is comfortable for them.  You won't be alone. There will be hundreds of cyclists on the route during the night.

Ride Start Location:

Leaving Newton Free Library (330 Homer Street) at 9:30pm to ride out to Hopkinton. Plenty of parking in the library lot.

Regroup in Hopkinton in front of the Masonic Lodge (6 Main St) at 11:00pm to ride into Boston to the finish line.

Ride Leader(s):

This will be a leaderless ride. Doug is down with an injury and can't ride.

Doug Cornelius: 617-416-0000 doug.cornelius@gmail.com

Caution:

There are dangerous train tracks in Framingham that cross at an awkward angle. Slow down and be safe.

There are dangerous MBTA tracks on Chestnut Hill Ave as you take a right off Comm Ave. They run in the center of the street and will catch your wheel. Avoid the center of the road.
