The CRW Board met on September 13 to review club operations, finances, upcoming events, and several governance matters.
The Board reviewed CRW’s financial statements and expense details, with the club’s financial position reported as healthy. Ride and event updates included preparations for the Cranberry Century, with discussion of permits, registration, SAG support, and the continuing need for volunteers.
Governance was another focus. The Board reviewed election-related matters, including Board terms and vacancies, and unanimously referred questions concerning election terms and eligibility, privacy policy items, and other potential bylaw refinements to the Governance Committee for further review.
The Board also discussed a possible charitable-contribution incentive to recognize volunteer service. The proposal remains under development and will return to the Board for future consideration. No action was taken at this meeting.
Looking ahead, the November 1 deadline for CRW grant applications was noted, with recommendations expected to come before the Board in November.
The Board unanimously approved the May 12 meeting minutes. Its next meeting is scheduled for November 8, 2026, and will be held virtually.
