Ride Description:

The ride leaves PROMPTLY from the Minuteman Bikeway terminus near Alewife (at the intersection of three bike paths: Fitchburg Cutoff, Alewife Linear, and Minuteman). We head down the Minuteman Bikeway to Lexington Center, into Burlington, up Blanchard Rd to the water tower at Mary Cummings Park. We descend to beautiful Horn Pond for a photo op, spin past Mystic Lakes, and head back to Alewife via the Minuteman. Some may stop for coffee at the finish.

Is this ride for me?

LED RIDE; the group will stay together as much as possible, regroup where safe to do so, and ride at the advertised pace; slower riders may be dropped and finish on their own.

Rain or unsafe weather/road conditions cancels. Will make call by 10 pm the night before and confirm again at 6 am in case of unexpected weather.

The CRW Women's/Nonbinary Program's goal is to invite more women, nonbinary, and female-identifying folks onto the road, foster connection with others in the club, and act as an on-ramp to other co-ed areas of the club. Feel free to contact the ride leader via email if you have any questions about this ride or the Women's/Nonbinary Program in general.
