Ride Description:
Looking for a BIG ride to highlight your 2024 riding season? How does a double-centuty sound to you? What if we throw a climb to the mountain ranked #3 in NH (according to PJAMM Cycling) right in the middle of the route just for "fun"? This ride will take you from Waltham (MA), all the way to Warner (NH), and back for an EPIC day on the saddle.
Like in other similar rides, this is a no-drop ride. We should ride together and help each other through eventual mechanics and the expected ups and downs a challenge like this poses. Riders that sign up should be experienced and well trained in long rides. We expect to finish with a riding time of 12 hours, but we should count for a couple more between rest stops, feeding, drinking and taking loads of pictures.
On 07-06, CRW-Devo is organizing a route scouting ride (128 miles) that could serve well as training ride for those interested in adding some mileage to the legs. If you like this proposition, why not join us for the Overnight to NYC ride on July 19th?
