Newcomer Orientation/Safety Event

CRW Rides are open to members and guests. Guests may attend two rides annually before being required to join the club. Please click the Register button to the left to join the ride. Helmets are required on all CRW rides. Riders are expected to adhere to CRW Code of Conduct, and to be familiar with CRW’s Rider Guidelines, Group Riding Guidelines, and Pedestrian Awareness Guidelines. Ride Description:

Are you new to CRW? Or maybe you've been around for a while but are not sure what the best group riding techniques are?

This event is for you! We will bring you up to speed about what CRW rides are all about, what to expect at one, and what others will expect of you.

At this event we will:

• Review proper individual and group riding techniques
• Perform in-parking lot demonstrations (Using Gears, Emergency Braking, Quick Turns) 
• Do exercises (Mounting/Dismounting, Starting/Stopping, Scanning, Rock Dodge, Slow Race)
• Do a short group ride

Snacks and beverages will be provided.
