Ride Description:
Join the Women’s/Nonbinary Program Committee for a beautiful, scenic, social Halloween-themed ride starting in Northborough at the amazing Aero Coffee Roasters. Halloween garb is encouraged, but not required! Wind your way through some of the most beautiful roads in Berlin, Bolton, and surrounding towns. This no-drop ride takes us on the most exquisite quiet, rolling country roads during this perfect time of year.
Both the short and long route offer tricks and treats aplenty. You'll be treated to bucolic, tree-lined rural roads with very little traffic, a particular delight when dressed in Fall colors. The 34-mile route (13-14 and 15-16 mph groups) is more hilly and includes several significant climbs, including the always-popular Green Street hill. The 19-mile route (10-12 mph), while also hilly, avoids Green Street, but still includes some tricky uphills nonetheless. Never fear, you'll be treated to some beautiful views and some great downhill sections as your reward!
Free treats for all registered riders! There is a restroom at the start. A special prize will be awarded for best Halloween kit! :-)
Registration closes at 8 PM on Saturday, Oct 25.
